My cousin just bought a new bike, so of course that meant we needed to break it in right away! We rode from my house to a nearby park and did the loop twice. Calculating the mileage proved difficult b/c I have no idea how long the loop is. I did manage to find some cross country skiing maps for the park and used those to closely estimate...and the grand total is 6 miles! It was a chilly day - almost 50*, but it was windy and according to the Weather Channel website that meant a wind chill of -10, so yeah...it was cool. I took a pic - you can see from my scarf how I ride! Bundling up doesn't bother me...much...=)!
We hope to get out on our bikes together more often!
