and then some

Today I went running w/my friend Tracy. I think we did over a mile. Then I biked the 1.8 miles to her house to check on the garden...it was a jungle!! But I cut spinach and lettuce...on my ride home I put it in the basket. Did I mention I have a basket now? It's pretty big and every time I get on my bike, I feel like I'm in the movie Wizard of Oz. That and I hear Pink Floyd music! It's funny, but somehow it makes me ride faster/harder. Ok, a little faster. I'm a little miffed that June is over and I only have barely 50 miles, so if you see me driving around town you have my permission to ask me where my bike is and use your foot to gently kick my behind.
