2 days of summer school

I've biked these 2 days. Today I took a different route home b/c I didn't like being on the semi route. It's fine in the morning b/c no one else is on the road, but the new route home (.4 miles longer) was better. I don't know the weather forecast for the rest of the week, but if I do the 2.8 miles for all of the 5 days of school, that's 14 miles/wk. That might not sound like much to you, but for someone who's not too active, that's a pretty big deal. Yes, proud of myself again. Just shake your head. I hope to find some more bike inspiration soon...

I've been meaning to tell you about a friend's commute. My cousin just got married and they live in Kenosha, but her new hubby works in Chicago. So he drives to the train station, takes the train for 20 minutes, then has his bike locked up overnight at the other end - where he bikes for 60-90 minutes each way to work. Phew!
